The Top Drive Circulatory Tool was developed by PDC with Through Tubing Rotary Drilling in mind. The process of TTRD incurs a huge amount of lost time due to the need to repeatedly connect and detach the 'Top Drive' to the drill string. The Top Drive Circulatory Tool allows the process of TTRD to become a far more efficient process with regards to both time and the human resource required.

The TDCT has been successfully field proven by Norsk Hydro, yielding time savings of 200%. This great success is the field is one of the many reasons why the Top Drive Circulatory Tool was awarded 1st prize in the EEEgr innovation awards 2006 (www.EEEgr.com).
