Gyroscope Casing

As well as working with a variety of shapes and sizes PDC also deals with many different materials. Work for a company producing gyroscopes involved making the parts shown out of Aluminium-Bronze. Our experienced workshop machinists drew from their extended knowledge of cutting techniques to also manufacture large components made from Inconel, a notoriously difficult material to machine. Whilst all the machining was being carried out we also produced pressure calculations for the client so they could ascertain the range of use of the tools.
